This year, we’re inviting every participant (and teams!) to set up a peer-to-peer fundraising page on CanadaHelps. It’s an easy way to share your story, rally friends and family, and see your impact grow in real time.

Earn meaningful rewards as you fundraise

Raise funds and receive thank-you gifts you can wear with pride:

  • $100 – Branded event sticker + thank-you recognition

  • $250 – Official event hoodie

  • $500+ – FREE entry to next year’s run + all previous rewards

Rewards are cumulative. One set of rewards per fundraiser. Full details below.

  • CanadaHelps’ peer-to-peer platform lets you:

    • Create a personal or team page in minutes

    • Share easily across email and social media

    • Track progress with fundraising thermometers and leaderboards

    • Collect secure online donations with tax receipts issued by CanadaHelps

    • DEADLINE: September 29th

    • Rewards are tallied using your CanadaHelps total at the close of the campaign.

    • Hoodie sizing: you’ll receive a follow-up email to confirm sizing if you hit the $250 tier.

    • $500+ fundraisers receive a complimentary entry code for next year’s run after totals are confirmed.

  • Do I need to be registered for the run to fundraise?
    We encourage everyone to register for the event and set up a page. Teams (workplaces, schools, families) are welcome.

    How do I claim my rewards?
    We’ll verify your final total after the fundraising cut-off and email you with next steps for sticker pick-up/hoodie sizing. $500+ fundraisers will receive a complimentary entry code for next year’s run.

    When will I receive my hoodie?
    Hoodies are ordered after totals are confirmed. We’ll share pick-up info (or shipping details if applicable).

    Are donations tax-receipted?
    Yes—CanadaHelps issues tax receipts directly to donors via email.

    Can we fundraise as a team?
    Absolutely. Create a team page, invite members, and watch your collective total climb. Each individual’s total counts towards their own rewards.

    Where do the funds go?
    All funds support programs through Mazinaajim Children’s Foundation, uplifting the educational, cultural, recreational, and community needs of Anishinabek children and youth in Northwestern Ontario.
